Governance · Structure

Clear responsibility is the foundation on which technology can be trusted.

Company materials list nine professional departments: Investment Management, Global Investment Research, Independent Risk Management, Compliance and Legal, Finance and Fund Operations, Technology Development and ADI, Digital Asset Investments, Institutional Client Relations, and Investor Education. Different departments carry responsibilities for research, review, authorized execution and operational verification.

Structure

Nine departments covering the full chain from research to service.

Departments are not linked by simple reporting lines; they constrain one another through review, authorization and verification.

Investment ManagementPortfolio construction, allocation adjustments and investment execution.
Global Investment ResearchFundamental and quantitative research across markets and asset classes.
Independent Risk ManagementConcentration, leverage, liquidity and stress scenarios.
Compliance & LegalApplicable rules, business boundaries and document review.
Finance & Fund OperationsValuation, operational verification and financial records.
Technology Development & ADIModels, data, infrastructure and product delivery.
Digital Asset InvestmentsDigital asset research, risk characteristics and allocation boundaries.
Institutional Client RelationsInstitutional requirements, service agreements and communication.
Investor EducationCurriculum development, learner communication and product feedback.

Three committees: strategy, risk and technology.

The Investment Committee is responsible for reviewing major strategies. Once research identifies an opportunity, it must still be combined with client objectives, portfolio constraints and applicable mandates to form an executable proposal.

The Risk Management Committee focuses on concentration, leverage and liquidity, defining in advance the boundaries a portfolio can absorb before changes occur.

The Model & Technology Governance Committee reviews major model updates and changes to the production environment, so that technical upgrades cannot bypass accountability processes.

  • 01Strategy review: does a proposal become executable?
  • 02Risk boundaries: when to reduce exposure or reassess
  • 03Technical change: review of model versions and the production environment

Decision Path

How does a recommendation become an executable proposal?

From research identifying an opportunity through portfolio constraints, risk review, authorized execution and operational verification, every step must leave a record. Full decision responsibility is never concentrated in a single model or individual.

01

Research identifies an opportunity

Set out the source of value, assumptions embedded in the price, supporting evidence and dissenting views.

02

Align with client objectives and constraints

Assess portfolio objectives, concentration, liquidity, horizon and applicable mandates to form candidate proposals.

03

Committee review

The Investment Committee reviews the strategy; the Risk Management Committee confirms risk boundaries, adding scenario analysis where needed.

04

Authorized execution

Execution takes place within defined mandates; sensitive operations follow authorization procedures and are documented.

05

Operational review and feedback

Finance and Fund Operations and Independent Risk Management conduct reviews, and the results feed back into subsequent research and model improvement.

Accountability
Models can extend the breadth of research, but they cannot bypass authorization; systems can accelerate analysis, but they cannot replace an understanding of client objectives and risk tolerance.

Technology Governance

When a model is updated, responsibility must be updated with it.

When a model moves from an experimental environment into production, this is not only an engineering matter: it means the model will affect real research workflows and portfolio decisions. The Model & Technology Governance Committee therefore reviews major model updates and production changes, and requires records of versions, validation and approvals.

EONVERA ADI embeds governance mechanisms directly into its architecture rather than leaving governance as an external process. The Intelligent Risk Governance and Evolution module runs through permissions, risk rules, audit and result feedback; recommendations issued by the Intelligent Investment Decision Center carry their basis, constraints and reassessment conditions.

Technology design must therefore answer the same questions as the organization: who can do what, under which conditions, and what record is left behind.

This is also a practical standard for judging whether an investment intelligence system is mature. The test is not how elegant a conclusion looks in a demonstration, but whether the system can explain where the conclusion comes from, the circumstances in which it would not hold, and whether, when users disagree, it allows disagreement to be recorded and reconsidered.
